The Carolina Beach Basin sits at the edge of the Cape Fear estuary — one of the most active wildlife corridors on the NC coast. Silent electric boats get you closer than anything else on the water — close enough that it feels like you're part of it.
Atlantic bottlenose dolphins are regulars in the basin and the Intracoastal Waterway. Silent approach means they come to you, not away from you.
Most active June–OctoberGreat blue herons, egrets, and osprey work the basin edges year-round. Watch them hunt from a few feet away without flushing them.
Year-roundStingrays glide beneath the surface in the shallows. Red drum and flounder work the grass flats. In clear water you'll see them before they see you.
Spring–FallLoggerhead and green sea turtles pass through seasonally. A silent electric boat is the only way to get close without startling them.
May–SeptemberBrown pelicans, laughing gulls, terns, and skimmers share the basin. Bring a phone with a good camera — you'll use it.

We'll launch from a quiet private dock into calm water, away from boat traffic and marina noise. After a quick walkthrough, you'll ease into a relaxed ride through one of the most scenic and protected areas on the island.
Expect glassy water on the right days, coastal homes lining the shoreline, and a mix of wildlife depending on the time of day — birds working the marsh, the occasional dolphin, and plenty of open water to just take it all in.
There's no rush and no strict route. Some guests want to explore, some want to fish, and some just want to float and enjoy the moment. We adjust the pace to match.

Book at least 48 hours in advance. We operate daily from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM — last launch is 4:00 PM, all boats back by 6:00 PM. We'll confirm your reservation the same day and touch base the morning of with a conditions check-in.
